Lush grass should be a priority for all centres. Some tips to maintain grass are:
– Provide hard surface pathways between activities so that the grass is never used as a pathway,
– Cut the grass longer than is usually cut in domestic gardens, and
– Maintain grass with regular treatments of water and fertiliser and cut out weeds as soon as they appear.
The rewards of a thick grass surface are worth the effort.
