Description
This sand pit has been dug into the ground so that any sand spilt out can easily be swept back into the sand pit. The sand pit has protection around 3 sides so that children can engage in play without disruption from other children in the playgound.
Next to the sand pit is a water storage tank supplied by rain water, with an accessible tap availble to children. The addition of water adjacent to the sand pit allows children to engage in more complex play activities.
