My Name is Darren Engelbrecht, I have been designing and building high end custom furniture and cabinetry for clients who have an appreciation for the quality and craftsmanship that goes into each piece of furniture that I make.

Having your furniture custom made is a great way to personalize your home environment, and maximize the usability of your furnishings by tailoring the design and function to your exact needs. As both a furniture designer and furniture builder, I will make sure that your new furniture will fit your needs as well as your personal style.

We have access to a range of timbers from Pine, Oak, American ash, to recycled Rimu or matai. We only source accredited sustainable timbers.

Restoration

At Naturally Wood, we recognize the value and importance of your wood furniture, whether it’s an antique, a family heirloom, or simply your favourite piece. However, over time, that special piece can get worn out or become too old-fashioned to match your home’s décor.

Before thinking about discarding or selling it in a garage sale, consider rescuing it through our refinishing services. We ensure that every item brought to our workshop is stripped, refinished and /or restored with the highest quality of care and attention to detail using traditional wood-working techniques. Refinishing furniture is the answer to restoring life to those special and often sentimental wood furniture pieces.
